Services Our success in Latin America and the Caribbean Basin has enabled us to expand into new markets. We now serve over 25 countries. Seaboard Marine's facilities include a nearly 80 acre private terminal located at the Port of Miami, our principal U.S. port. We carry more cargo to and from the Port of Miami than any other carrier. This facility, as does our terminal at the Port of Houston, operates seven days a week, 365 days a year -- a unique convenience for our customers.

Seaboard Marine 's fleet consists of over 40 vessels and over 50 thousand dry, reefer and specialized containers and related equipment. We offer direct service between the United States and major ports of call throughout the western hemisphere.

Our fixed-day schedules make it convenient for customers to coordinate manufacturing schedules and maintain inventories at cost-efficient levels.

In addition to our well established presence in Miami, Seaboard Marine has successfully developed a variety of services to/from Houston, Philadelphia, New Orleans and Fernandina Beach, Fla.

Services - Routes Seaboard Marine is a world-class ocean carrier with container shipping services between the United States, the Caribbean Basin, and Central and South America. Seaboard Marine's primary operations include a 135,000 square-foot warehouse in Miami for cargo consolidation and temporary storage, plus an 80 acre terminal at the Port of Miami.

Seaboard Marine's network of offices and agents throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean Basin maximizes fleet utilization for both northbound and southbound cargo to and from the countries we serve. Full service intermodal capabilities allow either truck or rail, import and export, cargo transport to and from various U.S. ports. Seaboard's frequent and reliable services offer our customers the convenience to coordinate manufacturing schedules to maintain cost-efficient inventory levels. Seaboard Marine's approach cultivates a partnership with our customers giving one of the most effective and efficient levels of service available in the industry.

LCL Cargo
LCL Cargo Seaboard Marine maintains a nearly 135,000 square foot warehouse at our off-port Miami facility to efficiently handle customers' cargo large and small. The facility is equiped with wireless infrastructure and radio frequency devices to quickly and efficiently receive and track cargo. Our highly trained employees are ready to handle all your LCL needs to or from the United Sates, Central America, South America or the Caribbean.

Refrigerated Cargo
Refrigerated Cargo Seaboard employs a fleet of over 3,000 refrigerated containers, both 20' and 40', specifically assigned to perishables that are monitored and maintained around the clock. Our procedures focus on time sensitivity issues that relate to your perishable cargo throughout its entire journey. We have created special import departments, at all offices, to expedite the clearance of your freight. These departments handle the various documentation that is required with any type of cargo, for both incoming and outgoing movement. This means we are well versed in dealing with the variety of issues posed from US Customs, the USDA and the FDA. We also work closely with importers and customs brokers prior to a vessel's arrival, so that advanced efforts can take place.

Project Cargo
Project Cargo Seaboard Marine has the capabilities to handle your oversized construction and agriculture machinery, power plants and heavy equipment of all kinds.

Our roll-on roll-off vessels along with our high-capacity ramps and high clearance are key in providing safety, and ultimately less risk, when moving your heavy cargoes.

With an advanced, specialized equipment fleet that includes: lowboys, roll trailers and single and double drop deck flatbeds, we provide the flexibility required to carry this special cargo.

807 Cargo At Seaboard, we have an entire team, known as the Specialized Services division, dedicated to overseeing your 807/9802 cargoes.
